Tipton Breaks Ground on 1st Building at Fountains Office Park

A groundbreaking ceremony was recently held at the new Fountains Office Park on Cedar Village Drive in Mason. The event was attended by the Mason Mayor John McCurley and Mason-Landen-Kings Chamber president John Harris as well as Chamber members and Mason City staff. This ceremony kicks off the project as Tipton Development has now started the first building in earnest. Earthwork is underway and the foundation for the first building - close to Mason-Montgomery Road is under construction. The Fountains Office Park will have approximately 32,000 square feet when completed and contain four buildings. The park is being marketed to small business and medical practices.

“Activity has been steady so far and is expected to remain consistent now that the first building is going up. The recent improvement in the economy has also given people more confidence in looking around at their options” stated Eric Tipton, Vice President of Tipton. “We feel like we picked an excellent location as development has really taken off recently along Mason-Montgomery. We have had several prospects tell us that ‘this is the middle of the action’ and we agree.”
